Magnesium products should be used daily with intensity during the first 3-6 months in order to ensure proper restoration of cellular magnesium levels.
A Magnesium Therapy Program consists of soaking in a bath tub 1-4 times a week for one month & soaking in a foot bath every day for 1 month & applying magnesium oil spray or gel every day for 3-6 months.
After an initial period of restoration, some users continue at these same levels, while others back down to using the magnesium products a few times per week.
How to Use Topical Magnesium:
THERAMAG Magnesium products are made with ACS Pharmaceutical Grade & 100% edible Magnesium Chloride.
Apply topically for rapid absorption of magnesium into the cells.
Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucus membranes, broken skin and other sensitive areas.
If redness or irritation occurs, rinse with cool water.
Magnesium Oil or Gel can be applied prior to bathing providing you wait a minimum of 20 minutes before bathing to receive full and complete absorption of the minerals.
Always apply magnesium oil (5-10 sprays) or gel (a dime size amount) to areas of pain or concern first, then apply oil or gel in each arm pit (lymph nodes), chest and stomach & gently massage thoroughly into skin. This is approximately 1 tsp. of magnesium per day. Apply magnesium this way daily for 3–6 months to raise cellular magnesium levels. However, the oil or gel can also be applied to the thighs, calves and feet.
You will be the best judge of how much oil you require a day to find the relief you need.
Start with 5-10 sprays of magnesium oil or a dime size amount of magnesium gel to each area needed. Don’t be afraid to use more topical magnesium because you are looking for the magnesium amount that will bring pain relief throughout the day. Be sure to gently massage after each magnesium application.
Apply oil or gel to areas of pain first for best results;
Anxiety - apply oil or gel (use amount listed above) to chest (thoracic lymph nodes), arm pits (lymph nodes), sides of neck (cervical lymph nodes). If shaving- apply 20 minutes before.
Muscle Spasms/Cramps - apply oil or gel, per amounts listed above, to each of those areas.
Migraines - apply oil or gel , per amounts listed above, to base of neck, temples, forehead and on scalp if needed.

Magnesium Bath Crystals Application Guide
THERAMAG Magnesium bath crystals offer a healing magnesium foot bath or full tub bath experience. Temperature of the water should be very warm, approximately 98° F +, but not hot. Hot water causes the skin to eliminate rather than absorb.
It is advisable for the first few soakings to use ½ cup of magnesium crystals, allowing your body to adjust to the powerful effects of magnesium chloride.
Dissolve ½ cup of magnesium bath crystals for the first few soaks into a warm foot bath or tub bath, and soak for 30 minutes or longer to receive a full uptake of the mineral. On subsequent bath tub soaks or foot soaks you may increase up to 1 cup of magnesium bath crystals. Increasing bath salt crystals gradually per each soaking experience will allow your cells time to adjust to the powerful effect of magnesium.
Do not use soap or cleansers during the therapeutic soak, follow up with regular cleansing afterwards.
Soak in a bath tub 1-2 times per week, & soak in a foot bath every day for 1 month & apply transdermal magnesium oil spray or gel every day for 3–4 months to achieve Cellular Magnesium Restoration Therapy levels.
Those with chronic or acute conditions should try to soak in a tub 3-4 times per week & soak in a foot bath every day for 1 month & apply transdermal magnesium oil spray or gel every day for 3–4 months to achieve Cellular Magnesium Restoration Therapy levels.
1 cup of crystals delivers approximately 10g of elemental magnesium into your foot or tub bath.
When using magnesium products for the first time, start with a lower dose and gradually increase the amount so that the skin gets used to it. You may notice a slight tingling or a sensation of warmth initially at the place of application. This is normal and an indication that the magnesium is being absorbed into the skin tissue. A Salt-like mineral residue may remain when the solution dries, this is normal and varies with the amount of magnesium oil applied at one time. If you would like to avoid this mineral residue, simply apply magnesium oil 20 minutes prior to showering each day or wipe off with a wet cloth.
If you are taking medications always consult your physician prior to using magnesium chloride products.
